Italy, ca. 1960s. A nicely made pair of tables by Bernhard Rohne for high-end American furniture maker Mastercraft. Each features sturdy brass construction with a hexagonal top supported by faux bamboo style legs. Perfect as occasional cocktail tables - or even as petite side tables on either side of a low loveseat or sofa. Versatile Hollywood Regency look is suited to a range of interiors from traditional to contemporary. Both in overall excellent vintage condition with a warm, even patina to metal surface. Removable bevelled glass tops could be replaced with stone for a more dramatic look.
