Henning Kjaernulf Trestle Dining Table

Henning Kjaernulf Trestle Dining Table
Denmark, ca. 1960s. A charming trestle style dining table by Henning Kjaernulf. Features solid white oak construction with a thick staved top supported by sculptural and shapely legs. Inspired by traditional Scandinavian and German folk furniture, this line of Kjaernulf’s was originally marketed with the notion of using it to outfit summer homes, camps, and cottages. And while that sounds like a lovely idea to us, this piece would also do well in a smaller urban kitchen or dining room paired with contemporary chairs. Wide surface would also make for a generous work table or writing desk.
Professionally restored with a subtle soaped finish that replicates the original surface - the condition is excellent.
Dimensions: 55” long x 35” wide x 29” high.
