Sweden, ca. 1960s. A versatile wall-mounted cabinet by Nils Jonsson for Hugo Troeds. Features teak construction with black lacquered sliding door, which opens to reveal a spacious birch interior fitted with one adjustable shelf. Smartly designed louvered drawer fronts blend seamlessly together and almost create the appearance of another cabinet door. Refined teak handle and felt-lined flatware drawer attest to overall build quality.
Quite pleasing with a crisp, clean look. This piece would be great for an apartment, tight dining room, or even as a floating console in a foyer. Excellent vintage condition. .
