USA, ca. 1950s. A classic two-seat tuxedo sofa covered in a cream Belgian linen. Features a tailored, minimalist form supported by simple cylindrical oak legs. Sturdy and well constructed frame with coil springs is built to last. Pleasingly deep and comfortable with plush, down back cushions. We acquired this piece from a local family that believed it was most likely by Cambridge designer Ben Thompson - or The Architects Collaborative. Would be perfect for a small library, den, or sitting room. Freshly upholstered and in excellent condition.
