Denmark, ca. 1950s. An attractive pair of sculptural lounge chairs by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Leominster-based importer Selig. Each features sturdy wrought iron frame with playful yet comfortable curved, birch backrest. Plush seat freshly upholstered in a handsome and durable green wool from Maharam. Produced in a limited run until the 1960s, the minimalist silhouette of this design is perfect for a small living room or den. Professionally restored, the condition is excellent with a pleasing patina to wood.
