Piero Fornasetti Ceramic Wall Plate

Piero Fornasetti Ceramic Wall Plate

$275.00

Italy, ca. 1960s. An earlier wall plate from Piero Fornasetti’s Tema e Variazoni collection, which he introduced in 1952. Features striking surrealist images of the 19th century opera singer, Lina Cavalieri - Fornasetti’s muse - rendered in black on a white Arzberg porcelain blank. This particular design is pattern 163 from the series. Would make a lovely house warming gift or fun addition to any kitchen. Excellent vintage condition with original cardboard packaging.

Dimensions: 10.25” diameter x 1” high (plate).
