USA, ca. early 1900s. A handsome pair of heavy cast brass candlesticks very much in the style of Richard Jarvie. Featuring a tapered stem and tulip-shaped bobeche with a round, low-profile base. A quite taking form, both sweet and refined. These would make a most excellent housewarming or wedding present—but also, most excellent to keep to oneself, a new mainstay at the dining table. In overall excellent vintage condition with warm, age-appropriate patina.
