USA, ca. 1970s. A refined studio ceramic vase by potters Vivika (1910-1995) and Otto Heino (1915-2009). Features porcelain construction finished in a white glaze with accented splashes of speckled copper glaze. A classic, orbital “weed pot” form with a subtle foot - it is the perfect vessel to celebrate a spring bloom.

A fantastic example of the Heinos’ unique style and dedication to their art. For nearly half a century, Otto and Vivika worked collaboratively from studios in New Hampshire and Ojai, California. They participated in over 200 national and international exhibitions, and their work is readily sought by collectors of the American studio craft movement.
