Features one of Barnet’s signature themes - a solitary woman with her pets - inspired by his wife, Elena. Through a thoughtful use of sweeping lines and curves, the subject is presented in an intimate and beautiful moment - where she could either be falling asleep or waking up. Quite striking with saturated color, the image perfectly straddles reality versus a dream.

Professionally fitted with a new white lacquered wood frame, archival matting, and conservation glass. Signed, titled, and numbered in pencil, the print itself is in excellent vintage condition.
