Denmark, ca. 1960s. An impressive architectural dining table by Hans Wegner for Andreas Tuck. Features large round teak top supported by beautifully designed chromed steel base. Produced in variations for some of Denmark’s best cabinetmakers, such as Johannes Hansen, Carl Hansen - and Tuck - this piece’s minimal form showcases Wegner’s unique ability to showcase the quality of the materials he employed. The largest round size of this form, it will comfortably seat four to six for daily use. Two large removable leaves easily allow it to accommodate ten dining companions when entertaining.
Masterfully restored with a stunning bookmatched top - the condition is excellent.
Dimensions: 53.5” diameter x 28.25” (without leaves), each leaf measures 20” wide for a total possible length of 93.5”.
