Denmark, ca. 1960s. A stylish bar cart by Poul Nørreklit for cabinetmaker E. Pedersen. Features three removable rosewood and white laminate shelves supported by a chromed steel frame with matching casters. Each shelf doubles as a serving tray with its durable surface set into a beveled surround with finely crafted finger joints. An attractive combination of materials and a seldom found variant of the usual two-shelf design.
A versatile piece - perfect for entertaining or useful in a home office for supplies, paperwork, etc. We do think it’s especially well-suited to full-service Negronis, rolling from the living room to dining room, then out to the veranda for a second (or third) round. In overall very good vintage condition, with subtle, age-appropriate patina.
