Denmark, ca. 1960s. A scarce and smartly designed console table by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard. Features rosewood construction with a slightly flared rectangular top supported by tapered legs with sled base stretchers. Modular two drawer storage box can be positioned anywhere along the surface - and makes a perfect spot for keys, gloves, dog leashes, etc. A lovely addition to any foyer or hallway. Lightly refurbished and in overall very good vintage condition.
