Denmark, ca. 1950s. An exceptional and rare sideboard by Hans J. Wegner for master cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. Features sturdy teak construction with five graduated drawers - each beautifully constructed with dovetails and subtle Shaker style pulls. Two sliding doors - each with a recessed circular pull - open to reveal an interior finished in white oak. Four shallow pull-out trays are perfect for linens, serving pieces, etc. Masterfully restored, we have preserved the warm surface patina and rich luster to the wood’s surface.
Great for a dining room, home office, or as a media console. Condition is mint. Johannes Hansen brand to reverse.
