Italy, ca. 1980s. A scarce Cab 413 chair by Mario Bellini (b. 1935) for Cassina. Features a rigid metal skeleton with thick white leather exterior. An architect and leading Italian designer, Bellini’s innovative use of leather demonstrates both the strength and elegance of the material. Would make for an unexpected desk or accent chair. Overall excellent vintage condition with attractive wear - and in a color we rarely see.
