Denmark, ca. 1960s. A stylish rosewood armchair or desk chair by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik. Features sculptural, solid rosewood frame with original cognac leather upholstery on both seat and backrest. Armrests and a generous backrest are nicely integrated with a balanced, relaxed form - both supportive and very comfortable. Perfect as a desk chair in the study or as a versatile accent chair.
Frame has been lightly refurbished to enhance the wood’s luster. Original leather has been conditioned and presents well with attractive, honest patina. Overall in excellent vintage condition.
