USA, ca. 1970s. A sturdy and supremely useful slatted bench - or coffee table - by Cambridge furniture maker Charles Webb. Features solid white oak construction with a thick rectangular top fashioned from nine parallel slats held together by round cross pieces. Architectural with a pleasing scale and surprising weight, this piece would be perfect as a cocktail table, as a bench in the foyer, or even at the foot of one’s bed. Professionally refurbished - the condition is excellent.
