Børge Mogensen Oak Daybed
Børge Mogensen Oak Daybed
Denmark, ca. 1960s. A rare Model 4312 armless sofa or daybed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia Stolefabrik. Features solid white oak frame of incredible build quality with sturdy slatted back rest supported by sled base legs. Deep seat cushion and two removable wedge-shaped back cushions retain their original soft wool upholstery in a most appealing blue gingham. Perfect for a library or den - where one occasionally needs to host an overnight guest.
Oak frame has been professionally refurbished and presents beautifully. Fabric has been freshly cleaned and shows only minimal and appropriate signs of use for its age. A collectible design - very few of which were imported to the States - that has been remarkably well cared for.
