Lotte & Gunnar Bostlund Ceramic Table Lamp

Lotte & Gunnar Bostlund Ceramic Table Lamp
Canada, ca. 1960s. A handsome Model 100 ceramic table lamp by Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund. Features a teardrop-shape stoneware base finished in a rich dappled green glaze. Original tapered fiberglass and jute lampshade casts a lovely, atmospheric light. Impressive in scale, this lamp would be ideal for a credenza or atop a console table. Professionally rewired with a 3-way socket and fitted with a brown cloth cord. A scarce glaze option in excellent vintage condition.
Originally from Copenhagen, the Bostlund family made their way to Toronto in the early 1950s. By the 1960s, their handmade lamps were retailed by stores such Georg Jensen and B. Altman.
Perhaps the nicest Bostlund lamp we have come across.
