Trio of William Blake MFA Prints

$800.00

USA, ca. 1960s. A trio of William Blake prints published by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Each features a crisp rendition of Blake’s early 19th century watercolors on woven paper. Presented in their original silver gilt frames, each print has been professionally refitted with an ivory acid free mat.

Included in the set are The Expulsion of Adam and Eve from The Garden of Eden, Christ as the Redeemer of Man, and The Casting of the Rebel Angels into Hell - all first created by Blake in 1808 for John Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost (first published in 1667).

Romantic, mystical, and sure to add a subtle academic vibe to any space. Really lovely.
