USA, ca. 1960s. A large serigraph poster by pop artist Robert Indiana (1928-2018) for the 25th anniversary of the New York City Center. Featuring a bold palette of primary colors, metallic inks, and dynamic graphics, this example is from the first edition of this design, which was limited to a run of 1000 - produced in 1968. Published by HKL - or Howard Kanovitz Limited - a renowned fine art publisher based in New York City. (An artist in his own right, Kanovitz is regarded as an pioneer of the photorealist and hyperrealist movements.)

Presented as found in a period silver metal frame. Overall excellent vintage condition with bright colors.
