Germany, ca. 1970. An original lithographic exhibit poster for the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000) at the Galerie Dorothea Leonhart in Munich. Features a rendering of his "Goodbye from Africa" in vibrant colors with contrasting metallic elements, which Hundertwasser created in 1967 after traveling through Uganda and the Sudan. Galerie Dorothea Leonhart was a significant publisher of Hundertwasser’s graphic works and a prominent dealer of modern art in Munich. After closing the gallery in 1975, Leonhart focused her attention on eighteenth century culture - including writing a biography of Mozart.

Freshly mounted in a white lacquered wood frame with archival materials. The condition is excellent.
