USA, ca. 1960s. A great little side table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Features cast aluminum powder-coated base with round white laminate beveled top. Knoll label to underside dates production from 1961 to 1970. A clean, early example in overall excellent vintage condition with appealing and appropriate age.
Originally introduced in 1956, the design of Saarinen’s pedestal base was inspired by a drop of high-viscosity liquid. Would make a lovely accent or cocktail (dry Martini, please) table.
