Antique Brazilian Arts & Crafts Coffee Table
Antique Brazilian Arts & Crafts Coffee Table
$2,800.00
Brasil, ca. 1910 / 1920. An unusual coffee table or bench very much in the spirit of Gustav Stickley - yet manufactured in Brazil. Features sturdy construction out of dense local walnut with a distinctively Arts & Crafts or Mission feel to it. Thick rectangular top is supported by trestle style pinned and pierced legs. Convenient shelf adds storage for books, magazines, etc. Early manufacturer’s label to the underside lists a São Paolo address about which we can find very little information.
Professionally refinished, the condition is excellent. An evocative and curious thing.
