Sweden, ca. 1950s. A long and lovely coffee table most likely made by Alberts Tibro. Features a wide rectangular top with softly curved edges supported by flared and tapered legs. The use of afromosia teak - with its rich color and dynamic ribboning - creates a pleasing two-tone look. Visually graceful yet quite sturdy, this piece is perfect for anchoring a living room or seating group. Masterfully refinished, the condition is excellent.
A most attractive form with all the subtle details that make the Scandinavian modern aesthetic so versatile.
