USA, ca. 1960s. An elegant pair of nightstands by Milo Baughman for Directional. Each features walnut construction with two doors that open to reveal a generous storage space supported by an architectural black lacquered base. Striking black metal hardware offers an appealing almost Brutalist element to the design. Substantial yet versatile, these would also do well flanking a sofa or loveseat - as the finished backs allow the pieces to be turned sideways if so desired. Professionally refurbished, the condition is excellent.
