USA, ca. 1960s. A handsome pair of nightstands by Jack Cartwright for Founders. Each features solid walnut construction with raised panel doors finished with a minimalist vertical pull. Interior portion includes space perfect for books or reading materials - while the shallow top drawer is a convenient spot for lotions, potions, etc. Dark charcoal honed slate tops are not only an attractive complement to the wood but also provide a durable surface for water glasses.
Beautifully made with finished backs, these would also serve well on either side of a sofa or loveseat. Professionally refurbished, and in excellent vintage condition.
