USA, ca. 1970s. A chic floating cabinet by Janet Schweitzer for The Pace Collection. Most likely from the “Obra” line, this versatile piece features dramatically grained Macassar ebony construction with original highly lacquered finish. Two doors open to reveal a central storage space that to us is just begging to serve as a home bar. However, this piece would also do well as a console in a foyer - or even a nightstand in a smaller guest bedroom. Can easily be installed to the wall by using a French cleat. Overall excellent vintage condition.
