Denmark, ca. 1960s. An especially attractive secretary desk by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. Features sturdy teak construction with drop-down front over three wide storage drawers - each finished with Mogensen’s signature carved rectangular pulls. This model is usually found with an oak base; however, this example’s teak variant is an appealing upgrade. When open, the interior offers a comfortable workspace - plus two small drawers, pigeon holes, and shelves ideal for office supplies, mail, etc. Professionally refinished, the condition is mint - including original key.
