Denmark, ca. 1990. An especially smart secretary desk by Andreas Hansen for Hadsten - originally designed in the 1970s. Features solid cherry dovetailed construction with generous work and storage space. Three lift-top compartments open to reveal areas perfect for stashing one’s laptop or the day’s clutter - with the middle section attractively finished in brown leather. Six drawers and ample pigeon holes are ideal corralling office supplies, mail, pigeons, etc.
Professionally refurbished and in overall excellent vintage condition. There is some light sun-bleaching to the back panel from spending the first chapter of its life before a window…This is not a problem if the piece is going against the wall; however, RESIDE can address it if so desired.
Sure to become the command center of even the most disorganized academic, we have always loved this slightly Shaker / slightly modern design.
