Hong Kong, ca. 1960s. A chic pair of accent stools attributed to the Japanese industrial designer Isamu Kenmochi (1912-1971). Each features round wicker construction with a slightly concave top. Interior bamboo supports add structure and rigidity. Both in overall excellent vintage condition with attractive surface patina and texture. Great for occasional seating, next to a fireplace, or even in a foyer / hallway.
