USA, ca. 1964. An original offset lithographic exhibit poster for Andy Warhol’s “Flower Paintings” at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York City. Features a striking image of “Flowers” in vibrant tones of pink and orange over a green and black background. Founded in 1957, Leo Castelli gave Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, and Frank Stella - among others - their first one man shows. A scarce survivor with strong color in excellent vintage condition. Freshly framed and matted with archival materials and conservation glass.
