England, ca. 1920s. A sturdy and comfortable pair of lounge chairs in the style of famed cabinetmaker Gillows. Each features a solid oak frame with turned arms and legs. Freshly upholstered in a striking charcoal gray and blue stripe wool with antique brass nailhead trim. Elegant and Edwardian, these are also rugged enough to become your favorite reading chair. Frames have been professionally refinished. Condition is excellent.
