Austria, ca. 1960s. A rare and clever No. 1246 desk lamp designed by J. T. Kalmar for Kalmar. Features enabled black metal base with adjustable yellow aluminum shade. Referred to as the “Hook” lamp, it easily transition from task to accent lighting with the simple movement of the shade. Professionally rewired with appropriate cloth cord and only lightly refurbished to preserve age. Quite fun with strong graphic appeal.
